The coffee is worth the detour. The bench is worth staying for. The shop is the part nobody plans on. Inside The Strand · Warwick QLD
Where to buy coffee in Warwick QLD used to be a question with a long answer. Most regulars now point to the alley behind the IGA. We've quietly built a coffee shop Warwick QLD wakes up to, and we get told a lot it's the best coffee in Warwick Queensland; we're too polite to argue. The Strand is the cafe arm of the Warwick Hotel family. Same people, same Palmerin Street block, since the original pub opened its doors in 1908. Across the carpark there's a heritage hotel and a Bottle Mart bottle shop. On our side, a quiet little cafe with a custom house-blend coffee, breakfast plates worth a detour, and a few of the best date scones in the Southern Downs.
Walk through the cafe and you'll find the gift shop. Gourmet gift hampers Warwick QLD shoppers used to drive to Brisbane for, plus locally sourced ceramics, soy candles poured up in Stanthorpe, kitchen pieces and small-batch homewares. Locally sourced wherever locally sourced is possible.
You'll find us tucked behind the IGA at 20 Palmerin Street. Easy in, easy out. Kids welcome. Dogs welcome at the outdoor tables. Most mornings we're already plating brekkie by the time the rest of Warwick is on their first coffee.
The cafe is open six mornings a week. The gift shop runs alongside it. The hampers can be built bespoke with a fortnight's notice. The Granite Belt grazing hamper is the one most people ask for twice.

Highly recommend. Me & my wife stopped off in this lovely cafe twice on our travels, we enjoyed the brekky wrap, toasted sandwiches, brekky burger and coffees so much we had to come back again. The two ladies that served us were very nice. We will definitely come back in the future.
I absolutely love this local gem! The coffee is always spot-on, the staff are incredibly friendly. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, making it the perfect spot to start the day or catch up with friends. Highly recommend supporting this amazing local business. A real community favourite!
